Le cadmium et le mercure font partie des polluants environnementaux les plus toxiques et les plus dangereux pouvant avoir des conséquences fatales. La vitamine C est un antioxydant et un co-facteur enzymatique important contre les métaux lourds. L'objectif de la présente étude était d'évaluer les effets toxicologiques du chlorure de cadmium, du chlorure de mercure et de leur co-administration sur les paramètres biochimiques de la bioaccumulation sérique du sang et des métaux dans les reins et d'élucider l'effet protecteur de la vitamine C chez le lapin contre ces métaux. . Dans les recherches actuelles, du chlorure de cadmium (1,5 mg / kg), du chlorure mercurique (1,2 mg / kg) et de la vitamine C (150 mg / kg de poids corporel) ont été administrés par voie orale à huit groupes de traitement de lapins (1, groupe témoin; 2, vitamine; 3, CdCl2; 4, HgCl2; 5, vitamine + CdCl2; 6, vitamine + HgCl2; 7, CdCl2 + HgCl2 et 8, vitamine + CdCl2 + HgCl2). Après les mesures biométriques de tous les lapins expérimentaux, les paramètres biochimiques à savoir. La créatinine, la cystatine C, l'acide urique et la phosphatase alcaline (ALP) ainsi que la bioaccumulation des métaux ont été déterminées à l'aide de kits disponibles dans le commerce et d'un spectrophotomètre à absorption atomique, respectivement. Les taux de créatinine (28,3 ± 1,1 mol / l), de cystatine C (1932,5 ± 38,5 etag / ml), d’acide urique (4,8 ± 0,1 mg / jour) et d’ALP (51,6 ± 1,1 UI) / l) étaient significativement augmentés (P <0,05) en raison de l'administration de chlorure mercurique, mais en présence de vitamine C, les effets du chlorure mercurique sur la créatinine (21,9 ± 1,4 mmol / l), la cystatine C (1676,2 +/- 42,2 etag / ml), l'acide urique (3,9 ± 0,1 mg / jour) et l'ALP (43,3 ± 0,8 UI / l) étaient inférieurs à ceux des échantillons exposés au métal. Des résultats similaires ont été observés chez des lapins traités au chlorure de cadmium et à la vitamine C, ainsi qu’à une administration concomitante de métaux et de vitamine C. Du fait de la nature bioaccumulative du chlorure de cadmium et du chlorure mercurique, ces métaux se sont accumulés dans les reins du pourrait conduire à des effets délétères.
