La néphropathie à l'oxalate est associée à une hyperoxalurie héréditaire, à la maladie de Crohn et à des interventions chirurgicales gastriques ou intestinales antérieures, en particulier en cas d'augmentation de l'apport en oxalate ou de l'ingestion d'éthylène glycol. Nous présentons un patient dont la consommation de suppléments de vitamine C (2 g / jour), exacerbée par des facteurs prédisposants d'obstruction antérieure de l'intestin grêle et de résection, et d'hyperplasie bénigne de la prostate (HBP), avait entraîné une lésion rénale aiguë due à une néphropathie à l'oxalate. Nous passons en revue les rapports antérieurs sur la néphropathie à l'oxalate induite par la vitamine C et discutons des facteurs précipitants sous-jacents.
