Dans ce travail, nous avons étudié l’effet du cycle redox en phase liquide sur la taille des nanoparticules et des oxydes de Cu. La solution mélangée d'hydroxyde de sodium et de persulfate d'ammonium a été appliquée comme système d'oxydation à la température ambiante et l'acide ascorbique a été utilisé comme agent de réduction à 80 ° C dans le processus de cyclage. Il a été découvert que des particules de cuivre cristallin d’une taille moyenne d’environ 800 nm et d’une large distribution allant de 300 à 1300 nm pouvaient être transformées en particules résultantes d’une taille moyenne d’environ 162,3 nm, avec une distribution de 75 à 250 nm après 5 cycles redox. Il a également été observé que des nanofils d'oxyde de cuivre uniformes formés après 5 cycles d'oxydation pouvaient être facilement réduits en nanoparticules de cuivre fines. Les facteurs d’ajustement critiques, notamment la taille des précurseurs, la morphologie, les défauts, le temps de réaction et la méthode d’addition de l’oxydant, ont été étudiés. Il a été suggéré que l’effet moteur synergique de la réduction chimique et de l’instabilité thermodynamique de la nanostructure en solution expliquait la reformation en taille des nanoparticules de cuivre. La méthode de réduction de taille proposée pourrait être développée comme stratégie générale pour le réglage à grande échelle des propriétés des nanoparticules de cuivre pour des applications étendues et étendue à d'autres particules métalliques.
